ITFHK Announces Success of 2004 North America TKD Open Championship

ITFHK Competitor Mr. KWEE Kwan-Ting captured 3 Awards from 2004 North America TKD Open Championship on November 13th 2004 at the Algonquin College Woodroffe Campus Gymnasium, Ottawa, Canada.
 
1) Male Individual Sparring ( IV Degree, Micro Weight division ) Gold
   
2) Male Individual Sparring ( IV Degree, Middle Weight division, Upgrade Challenge ) Silver
   
3) Male Individual Patterns ( IV Degree ) Bronze
 
The games have more than 400 competitors from China, Hong Kong, India, and across North America.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 2004 NORTH AMERICA TAEKWON-DO OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP I would like to send our heartfelt congratulations to ITFHK and your outstanding member, Mr. Tom Kwee, 4th dan, of his outstanding performance. The event had 400 competiors across North America participating. Mr. Kwee captured 1Gold in his Micro Weight division, 1 Silver in Middle Weight division (upgrade challenge) and 1 Bronze in Pattern division.

We thank you for the great support of Master Billy Chiang and his student, Mr. Tom Kwee, for attending our special event. We also would like to say thank you to ITFHONG KONG for sending a delegation far away from Asia to support our Championship, it means a lot to all of our North America TaeKwon-Do competitors and the organizing committee.

All competitors expressed their appreciation and hoping one day in the future they could travel to Hong Kong for an International Invitational Tournament.
